Each SnapJacket is determined by the size of the pylon of the structure. During our initial assessment, we measure the diameter of the pylons to find the SnapJacket that will fit. By picking a SnapJacket that has about 1.5 inches of extra annular space around the jacket, the concrete can then fully encompass the pylon and ensure maximum strength.
The installation will vary depending on the number of pylons repaired. However, most jobs take between 1 to 2 days to complete once construction begins. This allows our crew to be in and out within a weekend.
The watertight seal of SnapJacket prevents any components inside the SnapJacket from escaping into the water. This ensures no contamination of the surrounding environment. The quick and simple installation process is also beneficial in decreasing the amount of energy and materials needed.
